| Sunrise 1 Period: Reserved for Governments around the world. Provides local governments to protect place names and country names. The Government bodies or related agencies will be eligible to pick from a list of reserved names in addition to the names they decide to register. The selection of the names from the reserved list may be done by the applicant through Namesbeyond.com. The applications are due on or before October 9th, 2007. |

Sunrise 2 Period: This period is for registered trademarks only. The applications for the sunrise trademark registrations need to be submitted between October 9th and
October 30th, 2007. This sunrise period is further split into 3 sub categories: |
SR2a: For Early Bird Sunrise : Mark must be applied for before March 16, 2004 (SR2a Cut-Off Date). Mark must be issued and valid upon domain registration application. Applicant must have demonstrable usage of Mark (in the class if applicable) registered. Registrant must be owner, co-owner or assignee of Mark.
SR2b: For General Registered Marks: Mark must be applied for before December 6, 2006 (SR2b Cut-Off Date). Mark must be issued and valid upon domain registration application. Registrant must be owner, co-owner or assignee of Mark.
SR2c: Extended Protection: Mark must be eligible for SR2a or SR2b (application for domain in SR2a/b is not a pre-requisite). Domain Name Applied For may be constituted with Mark plus significant words from the class description. |

Sunrise 3 Period: This period is for Registered Entity Names (as in company or organization names). All applications sent in during this sunrise period must be for the domain names associated with the respected company or organization name only. The entity must be registered on or before December 6th, 2006. All applications need to be turned between November 13th, 2007 and January 15th, 2008.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL APPLICATION/S FOR THE SUNRISE 3 WILL REQUIRE DOCUMENTED PROOF OF REGISTRATION AND FOR APPLICATIONS UNDER THE SUNRISE 2 PERIOD, DOCUMENTATION MAY BE REQUIRED AND WILL HAVE TO BE SUBMITTED UPON REQUEST.
Landrush will be scheduled for February 2008. Land rush is not based on First come First serve Basis. All valid applications will be included in the auction, creating equal opportunity to win the domain. Live registration is scheduled to start in March 2008. |
